I know this is a little early, but with Thanksgiving just a little over a week away and people getting ready to visit relatives or maybe planning on having a houseful yourselves, I was wondering if anyone wanted to post some of the things your most thankful for this year. I’ll start… The usual My family My health My Friends For living in a place where on a clear night you can practically reach up and touch the stars. Other things Those four wacky, crazy guys we all love (and love to fantasize about). Peter’s continued good health The awesome people who have made me feel so welcome in this little corner of the universe known as the Monkees fan fiction fandom. For finding out that people actually like my smutty monkee fics (which, to tell you the truth, completely amazes me) And… Last but certainly not least….this place, where I tend to spend quite a bit of time. To Mini and Moondreams I want to say thank you for… Giving us a place to dream and drool… For not making this a PG rated only forum... For letting me hog the board with all the threads I’ve started (16 counting this one) For putting up with my sometimes horrible sense of humor… And, for not screaming and pulling out your hair (or making my send button magically disappear) when you see you have yet another pm from me, haha. Oh and one more thing that I’ll be forever thankful for…Peter’s speedo pic, LOL. ;D Anyone else want to chime in here?

Ahahaha, those last ones were awesome. We're not gonna stress out over someone actually contributing, you're totally safe Seeing as how I am not American and don't actually celebrate Thanksgiving, I don't really have a say...But I'm gonna give it anyway I am thankful for: My family My friends (both physical and internet based) My health (though I stress about it infinitely being the hypochondriac I am!) Getting a new job that I'm sure I'll enjoy Music that actually means something to me The Monkees (naturally) This fandom...though it may serve to make me want to bash my head against a wall at times; generally, I have never had so much fun and met so many great people as I have thanks to being a fan of those four crazy guys All you folks that have supported myself and Mini in the making of Naked Persimmon, it does mean a lot to us There's plenty of other little things too but I can't even begin to think of them now!

The usual - family, friends. Especially my parents - the only parents that would drive their daughter an hour away to see Peter in concert so she she could meet him and get a kiss... The Beatles, The Monkees, The Doors, and Bob Dylan. I wouldn't be the person I am without them. This community, of course! And all my favorite teachers at school, who are helping me reach my goal of becoming one some day. I can't thank them enough. Oh, and I'm VERY thankful that the Yankees didn't make it to the World Series this year. YES.

Awww. Well isn't this a lovely thread to start off the holiday season. Thank you, barrelracer, for this pre-Thanksgiving helping of pumpkin-flavored goodwill. Seeing as how I am a co-admin of this fine institution (and an institution it surely is), it seems only right that I participate in this as well. So, in no particular order, here are the things that I am thankful for:
- Things that are purple
- Food processors
- Vintage clothing
- Homemade pesto
- Orgasms
- Mr. Schneider (not the wooden dummy, see re: previous item on this list)
- Moist towelettes
- Craig Ferguson and his inability to not flirt with everything that moves
- The Monkees, and all (positive, non-crazy-making) things related to the fandom, including but not limited to you guys, this forum/NP site, some of the most amazing people I've ever had the privilege of calling friends (including the crazy old guys of SSB), and Moondreams, my slash soul sister and the Starsky to my Hutch.
- That blond, banjo-playing guy who has given me more second chances than I deserve when really all I am is an accidental, cookie-bakin' groupie, but he seems to like me anyway, and despite my best efforts to keep a clear head, he just has to give me that smile and I'm his all over again. (Damn him.)
- Oh, and of course, my family and friends (online and off). You will always be a part of me, and I am in your debt, for the kindness, warmth, and patience you have shown me, time and again. I would not be who I am without my parents, and I would not be able to be that person without my friends. So my deepest and most heartfelt thanks to you all.

Oh, my...I'm thankful for so many things. Family (mom, dad, brother) Hubby (who puts up w/ my Monkees fangirling so patiently) My lovely home -old and drafty though it may be. Being employed and able to pay the bills in this lousy economy (Not that there is much left over after paying said bills, but still) All my friends - 'real-life' and online Health Music - I wouldn't be able to handle my stress without it. A certain show starring a certain 4 boys who always make me smile, no matter how bad my day is. A certain tall Texan who inspires my fanfics and uplifts me with his beautiful music. All of you wonderful people here in this forum - you constantly prove to me that this fandom isnt totally nuts (even when it seems totally nuts). You keep me coming back to something that brings me a lot of happiness, and for that I can't thank you enough! And last but not least, for the creators of this site for providing me with the Monkee-themed smut I love so much

-My parents, my two sisters, my cat, and all of my friends and adults who mentor me. This includes my awesome online friends. c:
-For being healthy, safe, and living comfortably.
-Music, which sustains me. Like Jamie, I wouldn't be who I am without New Order, Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd, and the Monkees.
-The internet, which enables people of all interests to join together! I'm very thankful for this community.
